Field Night

Cooper's school had Kindergarten Field Night last week, so we went out to watch the activities. There are 3 classes and each had a station to participate at. Cooper enjoyed the night.

The Tooth Fairy Strikes Again!

Cooper is so excited to announce that she has lost her top right front tooth. That one has been wiggly for a very LONG time, and finally this past Sunday it came out. She was at Oma & Opa's house and was really working it with a kleenex and then "pop" out it came. The tooth fairy was very gracious and gave her $5. (She had her expectations set high, thanks to a suggestion from Opa.)

What a silly girl!

Girls Trip

This past weekend Kayre and I headed to Kansas City for a fun girls trip. It was her 34th birthday and reason to celebrate. We ate PF Chang's for lunch, shopped on the Plaza, stayed at the Argosy Casino & Spa, went to the movie "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", ate dinner at Granite City Brewery, gambled a little, and enjoyed a manicure/pedicure/ and hour long massage at the Spa. What a great time!

Every girl wishes they had a shopping spree here.

Ready for our night out, wish this was our ride!

School Carnival

April 24th was the School Carnival at Cooper's School. It was a hot & busy night, but we enjoyed our time there.

Dietary Needs

Should I be worried that my daughter is eating everything except real food??? Today was the cardboard box. Most other days it's napkins, paper, playdough, etc. This is normal - right?

Redecorating

Campbell is always my helper. Today while emptying the dishwasher she decided it was time for a little redecorating. Thankfully my measuring cups bounce back.

New Me!

It was time for a change. Time for a new me. I used to be that 5"10" tall, blonde hair, blue eyed girl; and then somewhere she got lost. I have been "growing out" my hair since Feb. 2008 hoping to have long hair again. That hope will just have to fade away because after 14 months, this is about as long as my hair will get. My hairstylist, Lori, said "you are done growing your hair out." So on to Plan B. Blonde Highlights & a more sassy style. Yesterday the new me was created. Now let's just hope this new me can take the ball and run with it. Funny thing is Cooper and some friends didn't even notice the change.
