Butterflies

A special opportunity came to Manhattan, it was a butterfly exhibit. It set up shop in the mall. Classrooms could take field trips there, watch videos, do crafts, and of course see real live butterflies. Best part was you could purchase the caterpillars and take them home and watch the butterfly life cycle.

I decided to teach my homeschool student, W, about butterflies at this time and Campbell's preschool class took a field trip to the exhibit. One afternoon I thought it would be great to have Campbell and W both go to the butterfly exhibit and check it out. It was a huge success and both kids enjoyed holding the butterflies.
