Wrapping Things Up!

Today is Cooper's last day of Kindergarten! I can't even believe how fast the year has gone by. She has done so well this year, with the help of a great teacher. We knew she was ready, but she has accomplished so much and we are so very proud of her! She even received an award for her excellent reading achievement. That's our girl!

I'll be on hiatus for a couple of weeks. Tomorrow there is a neighborhood garage sale (we are preparing for), then the holiday weekend, next week Cooper has a 3 day Girl Scout Day Camp, and all the while we are preparing for Colgin's Golf Tourney on May 30th. We have 25 (4 man) teams officially registered, so there is a lot to do, but we love every minute of it. If you could say a little prayer for nice weather on that day, we'd appreciate it. Wish us luck!

We'll be back posting all the news at that time. Thanks for reading-read the 3 posts I did today. Too funny!

The Tooth Fairy makes a return visit!

The Tooth Fairy decided to make a return visit to our house last night, and it was a good thing. Since Cooper lost her tooth last Sunday, she was beginning to look like a hillbilly snaggletooth. LOL! We knew that both teeth were very loose and last night Cooper pulled the second one out. So now she has a cute toothless grin.

Look our "Toothless Wonder." So cute!

Field Night

Cooper's school had Kindergarten Field Night last week, so we went out to watch the activities. There are 3 classes and each had a station to participate at. Cooper enjoyed the night.

The Tooth Fairy Strikes Again!

Cooper is so excited to announce that she has lost her top right front tooth. That one has been wiggly for a very LONG time, and finally this past Sunday it came out. She was at Oma & Opa's house and was really working it with a kleenex and then "pop" out it came. The tooth fairy was very gracious and gave her $5. (She had her expectations set high, thanks to a suggestion from Opa.)

What a silly girl!

Girls Trip

This past weekend Kayre and I headed to Kansas City for a fun girls trip. It was her 34th birthday and reason to celebrate. We ate PF Chang's for lunch, shopped on the Plaza, stayed at the Argosy Casino & Spa, went to the movie "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", ate dinner at Granite City Brewery, gambled a little, and enjoyed a manicure/pedicure/ and hour long massage at the Spa. What a great time!

Every girl wishes they had a shopping spree here.

Ready for our night out, wish this was our ride!

School Carnival

April 24th was the School Carnival at Cooper's School. It was a hot & busy night, but we enjoyed our time there.
