Up to Date

Scroll down and read the five posts I made today. I'm finally up to date.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Each year in Aggieville a St. Patrick's Day parade is held. We love to venture down amongst the crowd and watch the festivities. The girls really get a lot of attention with the red hair and fair skin, many people think they are Irish.

Fun with the girls - Spring Break

Bailey (my sister's girl) came to stay with us during Spring Break. It was great for Cooper to have a playmate and keep her busy. We ventured to the park, a movie, and I took the older girls bowling.

Campbell loves to swing.

Broken Toe??

*Caution-gross foot picture below*

The night of Feb. 27th, I was downstairs getting things ready for our guests (The Watson's) and I stubbed my pinky toe on the ottoman. OUCH!!! Talk about severe pain. It was pulsing and turned red instantly. I tried to beg for sympathy, but didn't receive much. No doctor visit, because Chad told me a dozen times, they can't do anything for a broken toe. Officially, one month later, my toe is finally feeling better and well enough to touch again.

Missing Dad Photos - Random

Again, pulling pics off my cell phone. Not too bad at all. These were some photos we sent to Chad while he was in CA in February.

Napa Valley - Random

Again, doing a little clean up and loving technology. These are some photos Chad took (on his cell phone and sent to me on my cell phone) while in Napa Valley, CA in February. Enjoy!

Chad at the "infamous" Napa Valley sign. When we went out there last April with Jeremy & Beth, we wanted to take our picture by this sign. Chad swore he knew where it was and when he couldn't find it, he said it was taken down due to getting repainted.

Snow has arrived!

The snow arrived late last night. Thankfully not as bad as they forecast. I'm guessing Manhattan received 1-2 inches of snow. The wind is blowing and the snow continues to fall off and on.

Snow

I checked the calendar twice. It is March 27th. Spring started a week ago.

Why in the world are we forecast to receive 4-8 inches of SNOW????

Tune back in later to see the final result.

CoCo Keys Water Park

What all had a great time at CoCo Keys Water Park. We arrived about 11am and left about 3:30pm. For my family that is really good. Chad does NOT like swimming and Cooper and I are very overly cautious people and don't enjoy the adrenaline rush that everyone else does. All in all, it was a good day.

Hot Tub

To wrap up Spring Break, our family & my sister's family headed up to dad's house in Iowa. Marie had purchased tickets to the CoCo Key's Water Park in Omaha for all 20 of us (my 2 stepsisters & their families too.) The night before we hit the water park we enjoyed some time in dad's hot tub. Chad has really taken a liking to hot tubs since his trip to California in February. Of course he didn't go in until 10pm when all the kids were in bed.

Picnic & Play Time

Chad came home last Thursday night with a take & bake pizza and then we had a picnic outside in the backyard. Bailey and Cooper were so excited, they had wanted to have a picnic all week.

Afterwards, as they played out front, Campbell was hoping for rain. She looked so cute under the umbrella.

Silly Rabbits

Tuesday was a perfect day. It was 85 degrees, we made it to the post office, recycle center, and the city park. The girls played outside all afternoon and we grilled out for dinner.

Wednesday was not that perfect. It was only 60 degrees, cloudy, and windy. So we stayed inside. The older girls wanted to do a craft so we made these silly rabbits. Later that afternoon I took all 3 girls to the movie, Coraline. It was a 3D movie. It was enjoyed by all, except the last 20 minutes as Campbell had lost interest and was circling the aisles.

Jelly Face

Campbell's appetite has finally returned. At dinner she thought she was clever eating her open jelly sandwich and making such a "jelly face."

Spring is Here

On Monday I went to Herington to pick up the girls who had enjoyed two sleepover nights at grandma's house. This week is Spring Break, so I also picked up Bailey and the girls were all excited to be able to spend the week together.

We stopped at Colgin's to put up some new Spring decorations. The weather was warm and sunny and the girls were great helpers. What a nice peaceful place and now very colorful and pretty.

Must Love Cats!

In our house one must love cats, or is it that the cat must love being loved. Champagne, our four legged friend, has certainly come around to Campbell and those two are now quite the pair. They both like to cuddle and enjoy lots of attention. Both are definitely spoiled.

The girls are watching tv as Campbell uses Champagne as a pillow.

Pictures

Kayre just sent over the pictures from the weekend they were here. What good pictures they are! Enjoy.

The Kiddos - the girls love to play American Girl doll, while Dylan plays on his Nintendo DS. Campbell fell in love with Dylan's "blue puppy" and was content all weekend.

Updating

Ok, been off the radar for a bit. Had to get life in order. I have added some new blog sites to my favorites list. Check them out if you get a chance. Also, was happy to update my profile, nine years of marriage, wow that went by way too fast.

There are 5 new posts below, so read on.

Feeling Good

A couple weeks ago I wrote about being successful in taking the pacifier away from Campbell. Well now I am excited to share that I took her crib down on Monday and she is sleeping in her toddler bed. This picture is proof! Now that doesn't say anything about the 1 1/2 hours it takes her to fall asleep or the night we found her playing in her sister's room. But nevertheless, it's progress.

The Watson's visit Wildcat Country

This past weekend The Watson's came for a visit and lots of basketball. Saturday night the adults went to the men's game and then out for drinks afterwards. Sunday everyone headed to the coliseum for the girls game. It was a special day because senior player "Shalee Lehning" had her number retired, and she is a house favorite as she is from Sublette, KS. It was lots of fun. (Pictures to come later.)

Daddy's Girls

The picture tells it all. The girls snuggled in Cooper's bed and loving their daddy. How cute!

Tennis Star

These pictures seem to be dark - sorry.

Every Wednesday Chad and Cooper go to tennis lessons. Cooper is getting really good and her strength and ability amaze me. Last Wednesday Campbell and I went to watch the two tennis stars.

Cooper has quite the swing.
