Michael Buble` in KC

Chad is a man who likes to make all my dreams come true. This would include making me happy. So usually when I mention something (beg, nag, or repeat myself) he gets the point that I'd really like to do the above mentioned thing. Well this time it was go to the Michael Buble` concert in Kansas City. Luckily some very gracious friends of ours let us stay at their condo and we were able to meet up with some other friends, Todd & Carrie and enjoy dinner and the concert together.

The concert was fabulous. He puts on a great show. His humor and personality shine through. And wow - what a hottie he is. It was a great weekend away and the girls enjoyed their time at Kelly & Pat's house for the weekend.

Father's Day 2010

If Chad could have one request on Father's Day it is for sushi. So we all got dressed up and drove to Topeka. Chad so kindly and bravely took the girls to the movie, Marmaduke, while I went shopping. Afterward we went to eat lunch and Chad enjoyed some sushi. We also made sure to spoil him with a rib cooker. I think he had a great day and we did as well.

Colgin's 9th Birthday

This year our "little man" would have been 9 years old. Each year as a family we gather at his stone and celebrate his life with flowers, decorations, and a balloon send off. It's sad to look back at pictures and watch Cooper and Campbell grow up, but Colgin remains the same. It's a bitter sweet day, as 9 years ago it was the greatest day of our lives. We begin that day and the six weeks following as a celebration for each day we had Colgin in our lives. I know that without the love and support of friends and family, we couldn't have made it this far. Happy Birthday Colgin Tanner! We love and miss you dearly each day.

Campbell takes swim lessons

Campbell has shown that she has spunk and spark, so I'm really hoping that she enjoys swimming. For her this summer it was swim lessons. She did well and became more brave each day. She enjoyed her swim instructors and was excited at every new thing she tried. Hoping this continues and we'll be able to enjoy the pool.

Tennis and Golf for Cooper

Cooper has found her favorite sports. She enjoys tennis and golf. So each summer she continues her tennis lessons and then participates in a two week golf camp. This year at golf camp the coach asked Cooper to move up a group level which allowed Cooper to actually go on the golf course and put to practice her new skills. She is really good for her age and we look forward to watching her continue to improve her knowledge and skills of both sports.

Colgin's Golf Tournament Party

Colgin's 9th Annual Golf Tournament was an outstanding success with 30 four man teams. Each year after the tourney, we invite friends and family over to our house for some food, fun, and drinks. It's always a great time and we all have a chance to visit about the day and plan for next year's tourney.

Playing a game of bags - aka "cornhole."

Lots of time to discuss the day and visit.

Enjoying some shade finally.

Campbell tries Gymnastics

On any given day Campbell will tell you that she is 3 1/2 years old and she is old enough to do things that her big sister does. So this summer we signed her up for Gymnastics class and she loved it. It's great fun to go watch her strut her stuff and show off her new moves. She has so much fun.
