Thanksgiving Project

My dad and Marie came for Thanksgiving, and lucky for us, dad put in our new dishwasher. While projects like this never go as planned, it is finally complete. Thanks Dad!

Tallest Christmas Tree in Kansas

Blue Earth Plaza has created an area for people to walk around, sit and visit, and now during the holidays; see the tallest Christmas tree in Kansas. The lights move the beat of music, Santa will visit here, there will be carriage rides. It will be a nice holiday place to take families.

Quilting

With the help of my dad and Marie, I made a quilt for baby Lohman. I wanted it to be something rough and tumble to be used, not just kept pretty. I really hope Beth likes it for the baby, whenever he or she arrives.

Veteran's Day Parade

Fifth grade classes march in the annual Veteran's Day Parade, and this year it was Cooper's year. It's very convenient that my work is right downtown, so I had a front row view to the parade.

Cooper's 11th Birthday

When Cooper has a goal, she puts her mind to it and does what it takes to reach that goal. This year, on her 11th birthday, she spent the day doing an American Red Cross babysitting certification training class. She completed her goal! We spent this birthday celebrating with friends at a KState basketball game. She also wanted to design her own birthday cake. Thanks to Rachel at 4 cakes, who put all of Cooper's ideas to work and created the perfect cake. Happy Birthday Cooper!
