Carving Pumpkins & Halloween

We carved pumpkins this year with Beth and Jeremy. The more difficult the design, the better it was. Complete with St. Louis Cardinals and KSU Wildcats, it was a festive pumpkin display. The girls enjoyed trick or treating as the weather was nice.

A Visit to St. Louis

Opa is retiring from his government job. Today was a celebration of that retirement. Afterwards, we traveled onto St. Louis to visit Chad's grandmas and take in some sights. We never miss having lunch at Wally's in Breese. Our St. Louis adventures took us to the Arch, the Zoo, and Grant's Farm. It was a most memorable visit. These were all new things we had not seen or done before.

Visiting Sublette

We took the long weekend to travel back to western Kansas. Sublette is a small town with some of our favorite people in it, The Watson's. It's always a nice relaxing visit, full of laughs, interesting tv shows, sports watching, and a meal at Cattleman's Cafe. The ride there isn't very scenic, but the wind turbine farms are a sight to see.

Tooth Fairy

Campbell and Cooper both have no fear of loose teeth. They spend time in front of the mirror wiggling that loose tooth until out it comes. Today was Campbell's day. Her adult teeth have already come in behind her baby teeth, so goodbye to another baby tooth.

Pumpkins at Papa's house

While Chad was away for the weekend, the girls and I traveled to Iowa to visit my dad & Marie. We took in a small pumpkin patch. The weather was nice and Campbell really enjoyed the fall festivities. We carved pumpkins when we got back to the house.

School Pictures

In an effort to help me keep my sanity while Chad is away, he arranged for the girls to visit the salon to have their hair done for picture day at school. It was a big success!
