As we all know, life gets busy, you have kids, and then life gets even busier. Well taking that into account, we decided it was way past time to head down to Wichita to visit our friends Bryce & Stacy. It had been quite some time since our last visit and it was a nice weekend to getaway.
Our girls had a fantastic time playing with their boys. They all got along superbly and it was so fun to see what they would come up with next. Us adults enjoyed the time to visit, drink a few delicious sangria martini's and other stuff, and eat a late steak dinner. It was so fun to catch up, relive the good ole' days, and talk about the future.
Thanks Bryce & Stacy for letting us visit. Hope to see you all again soon.

Part 3 of Mom's House
Part 2 of Mom's House
Mom really had her work cut out for her as she tried to make space for 10 adults and 13 grandkids (when we are all together.) The floor plan changed a little bit, as they took out 1 bedroom and then added a half bath. She moved her dog grooming shop to the back of the house and left rooms open and spacious and really downsized decorations and STUFF.

My Mom's House is Finished!!
It's done 2 months early!! Mom and Butch worked around the clock to make it happen. The house looks AMAZING!! My mom did an excellent job decorating, arranging, and making that house back into a home. Congrats - and so glad it's done.
If you want to see what the house looked like before go here.

Puppy Party
We decided to have Campbell's birthday party the weekend after her birthday. With the holidays and Chad's birthday, it has worked out better to wait a week for everyone to get together again. For Birthday # 3 it was a Puppy Party. We invited 3 friends over, made puppy chow, and played with puppies in the tent. It was a cold day, but fun was had by all.
Beth, Campbell, & Uncle Jeremy
The table set for the kids. They could eat their puppy chow out of their puppy dishes.
We had drinks, cupcakes, and ice cream too.
Isn't she SO cute??!!
Cooper and Campbell - Say CHEESE!
Campbell sat on Brett's lap the entire time while opening gifts. She wouldn't start the party until he arrived. She's smitten.

A & Campbell in the tent.
After the party, the Hitchings & my sister's family stayed. We ordered pizza, played the game Mad Gab, and just laughed all night. It was so fun!!

Campbell Turns 3
Happy Birthday to our Campbell Macy! How can she be three years old already. She is full of spice and spunk and likes to get her way. She loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses. She is such a big girl now. She enjoys watching Diego, Handy Mandy, and doing anything her big sister does. She is such a joy and a great addition to our family.
Blowing out candles on her cinnamon roll.
We went to Kansas City to eat at Fritz's Railroad Restaurant and then to Build A Bear.
Cooper at Fritz's.
Campbell at Fritz's. Having some trouble with her smile.
Meet Jack. This is the puppy Campbell built.
Cooper of course took her money so she could also do a Build A Bear. Meet Sparkles the cat.
It was a fun trip, although the ending could have been better. We roamed around the Oak Park Mall for a while. Chad and the girls rode the Carousel. Chad did some shopping and then the weather turned bad as we were heading home. Snow flurries were flying and the wind had picked up. Cooper was not feeling good. Campbell needed warm milk. We stopped at a gas station to get the milk and while we were waiting Cooper got sick in Chad's new truck!! Luckily, it was well contained. But she was upset and we quickly learned Campbell has a high gag reflex. So quickly as I could I rolled down the windows and got Cooper out of the truck and inside. Chad cleaned her up and I took care of the truck. It was a LONG drive home. Cooper spent the next day in bed recovering. Thankfully no one else got sick.
