Flower Girls

This year is quite busy for us. With our anniversary, Chad's wine trips, weddings, Chad's 20 year high school reunion, and a group trip to Napa. The girls have been asked to be in two of those weddings. In Uncle Jeremy & Beth's wedding, Cooper will light candles and Campbell will be a flower girl. In Jason & Amy's wedding both girls will be flower girls.

So since it was Spring Break, Amy and I took the girls to Topeka to David's Bridal to get their dresses. It was an adventure indeed! The dresses are so pretty and they girls look so grown up and beautiful. They are looking forward to the big day!

Chad said to me "we'll use these pictures some day when it's their wedding day and they are trying on their own wedding dresses." Really - can't I just savor the moment?

St. Patrick's Day

It was a cloudy and cold day, but because Daddy wore his vest, the girls thought they should were their vests as well. Thank goodness Mommy packed hats, gloves, and blankets. But it wouldn't be the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade if it wasn't cold and we weren't drinking hot chocolate before our green beer!

Afterwards, we ate lunch at Willie's to warm up. Cooper had her "Panda" from school for the week, so she went everywhere with us.

Reverie

By luck of the calendar we were able to host one of our favorite wineries from our trip to Napa this past September. The winery is Reverie and the GM Grant (aka Hottie #1) came out to present their collection. The wine tasting was great fun with the gang and some other friends and family. Harry's served up some delicious appetizers and the evening was a success. Grant enjoyed his time here in Manhattan and we look forward to seeing him again this September on our next trip to Napa.
