A Dress The Heart Gala

Chad and I ventured out to the annual A Dress the Heart Gala. Always a good time to enjoy a date night with the hubs. Good food, drink, music, and people watching. Glad we could enjoy a special night dressed up and out on the town.

Celebrating Chad's 41st Birthday

Together with Jeremy, Beth, Oma, & Opa; we all ventured to Kansas City for the weekend to spend time together celebrating Chad's birthday. He chose to eat at a well known German restaurant called Grunauer. We stayed at a hotel near the Plaza and spent time shopping, talking, and making memories.

American Girls

A visit to the American Girl store is always fun. Especially for these two red heads. Celebrating the Girl of the Year Saige.

Hot Chocolate

With help from many, we ventured over to our favorite coffee shop to warm up. Hot chocolate, pizza, and Varsity donuts. Lots of giggles, gifts, and smiles from the birthday girl; made it a great day.

Ice Skating Party

We had to postpone Campbell's ice skating party due to a water line break near the ice rink. So a week later the party went on without a hitch. Campbell had been taking ice skating lessons and enjoyed getting on the ice. With friends and family present, we all skated around the rink until our toes turned cold. All the girls gave it a good effort and had fun. It was time to go warm up with hot chocolate.

Birthday Dinner

The birthday girl chose UMI as her birthday dinner. She loves to watch them cook the food in front of us. As they tell their funny jokes and do their tricks while cooking. She giggles and laughs. Now if she could just catch the shrimp when they toss it to her.

Happy 6th Birthday Campbell

With the family back together, snow on the ground, and celebration in the air; we set off to get Campbell's ears pierced. She wasn't nervous or scared. She sat with strength as our favorite hair stylist set to work to add earrings to her beautiful profile. She was excited at the outcome. Happy 6th Birthday Campbell.

New Year's Eve/Chad's Birthday (take 2)

The girls and I traveled home to Kansas today without issue. Boy, were we HAPPY to be home! Boy, was Chad ever HAPPY to see us. In true Lohman style we had to make up for time lost and had our own New Year's Eve/Chad's birthday Celebration all over again.
