Headbands

Campbell had Ashley spend the night tonight. We all played the game Headbands. It's hilarious to watch the person trying to guess what's on their card, when it's so easy to figure out because you can see their card. Laughter and fun had by all.

Tumbling Class

Campbell and Ashley have been taking Tumbling class at Gymnastics Plus. Today was picture day. Of course the BFF's had to get a photo taken of them together. Both girls' skills are developing as they continue to practice each week. It's been fun to watch them participate in class.

Lady Antebellum Concert

For Christmas, Cooper received tickets to the Lady Antebellum concert in Kansas City. The initial date of the concert got changed, so today is the rescheduled show. Cooper is super excited! Chad, Cooper, and I are on our way to Kansas City to watch the concert. Campbell is staying with Jeremy & Beth. It will be a quick trip, but so worth it. While Chad isn't a big fan of live music, I know Cooper and I will really enjoy the show. Along with Lady Antebellum; the show includes Casey Musgraves and Kip Moore.

Day of Love

Each and every day take the time to spread love to those you keep closest to your heart. On Valentine's Day make sure to spread double the love to all those that make you happy. Today, we celebrate our special "red headed beauties." They make our life very happy. Grandma Debe even dropped by to give them some love.

Shoveling Snow

Cooper works hard, especially hard when she wants something. Today she worked at shoveling snow off the driveway. She must want something really big, to do all that hard work.

School Valentine's Day Parties

The girls shared all their goodies they received at their school parties today.

The "King of Fun" Visits

A few years ago, during one of our trips to Napa, we met a guy named Grant. While we didn't hit it off from the start, we soon warmed up to each other. If only we would have known, he would become a very good friend, host Chad for many harvest seasons to come, and our girls would come to call him the "King of Fun." We all love Grant! He came to visit and sell some wine here in Kansas. The weather was cold and snowy, which resulted in two SNOW DAYS from school. The girls were super excited! While Chad and I both worked a bit, Grant did some work as well, and we all played. We enjoyed a lunch out at Taco Lucha. Then Chad, Grant, and the girls went to play in the snow. For a guy who lives in California, Grant sure enjoyed the cold and snowy weather. Later that night, the adults ventured off to 4 Olives for Grant's wine tasting and dinner. It was a successful trip.

Super Bowl helper

Campbell loves to help. Today, as we prep for the Super Bowl, she was helping and so was her American Girl Doll. Both dressed in their aprons, ready to cook up some delicious nibbles. Mostly, enjoying the time in the kitchen with Daddy.
